The headboard bolts at 45, 47 or 49 inches from the floor. The frame is 84 inches long and 64.5 across the headboard, with a deck of 80.5 by 61 for a Queen mattress and 6 inches of clearance underneath.
Why three settings matter
Eight to fourteen inches is a six inch spread of mattress, and a fixed headboard cannot cover both ends of it. The three settings exist so the quilted panel still reads properly above the pillows whichever mattress you put on the deck.
Twelve legs and 1300 pounds
Six thickened side legs and six extra wood legs down the middle carry a published 1300 lb, which is well above what most Queen frames claim. Ten thickened slats sit on top, held with hook and loop fasteners so they cannot creep apart.
