Will it cover a sofa set?

Yes. The 10 foot canopy spans a three seat sofa and a coffee table, and the post stands at the end rather than among the seating. Underneath there is 6.5 feet of room by the drawing.

Are the sandbags or weights included?

No. A crossed metal base is included and the listing says it needs sandbags or a weighted base, not included, to hold it down. No weight is published, so fill or load it generously: a side post umbrella carries its canopy off centre.

Is the grey the same as in the photos?

Mostly. One image in this grey listing actually shows a navy canopy over a blue sofa, so we have not used it here. The other photos show the grey.

What about wind and winter?

The manufacturer asks you to close it in severe weather. Crank it down, fasten the loop strap and, for winter, let it dry fully before storing it somewhere dry.
