What to hang on a white tree

Gold, cream and clear glass are the safe choices, as here. Strong reds read very loud against flocking and dark ornaments disappear into the shadow between branches. With 1116 tips there is plenty to hang from, and the branches are stiff enough to hold a piece out where it shows.

How much flocking comes off?

Some, and mostly at setup. Flocked tree care guidance is consistent: assemble the tree where it will stand, avoid shaking or dragging it, and use lighter ornaments so branches are not stressed. Dust it with a soft duster from the top down instead of vacuuming it.

How much floor space does it need?

Four feet across at the widest branches. Leave a clear circle of about four and a half feet. At 7 feet tall it suits an 8 or 9 foot ceiling once you allow roughly a foot above the tip for a topper.

Can I add my own lights?

You can, and warm white is the tone to match. Adding a cool white or bright white string next to these would show as two different colours on the flocking, which is more obvious on a white tree than a green one.

How do I store it?

Take it back to its sections, dust off the loose flocking first, then pack it in a breathable tree bag rather than sealed plastic. Somewhere cool and dry is best: storage guides warn against attics and unheated garages where the temperature swings.
