Does it plug into a normal outlet?

Yes. The manufacturer specifies 115V at 60Hz with a 570 W cooling input and 5.1 A total current, which is a standard Canadian household socket. Bigger window air conditioners often need a dedicated 208 to 230V circuit, so it is worth knowing this one does not.

What does CEER 11.0 mean in practice?
