Will it slide on a wooden floor?

The base is covered in rubberised grip dots rather than plain fabric, which is the maker's answer to having no legs. It will not drift under ordinary use. Moving it deliberately takes a firm push, and lifting a corner is easier than dragging it.

Is black corduroy hard to keep clean?

Corduroy has a ribbed surface, so it holds dust and pale hair more visibly than a flat weave. The counter to that is that every cover on this sofa unzips and goes in the machine, which is not true of most black sofas at this price.

Is it hard to get up from?
