Set of 3 Snow Flocked Alpine Christmas Trees, 3 FT 4 FT 5 FT, 300 Multicolour LEDs Total

Three slim alpine trees at 3, 4 and 5 feet, each with a bare trunk and a flat metal plate base, flocked white with drooping branches. Between them they carry 597 branch tips and 300 multicolour LEDs, wired for a single UL approved adapter.

One tree in a room that needs a group

A single small tree looks stranded

A three or four foot tree on its own in a hallway, a shop window or beside a staircase reads as an afterthought. The height is not enough to command the space and there is nothing else to give it scale.

Three heights that work together

Stood together at 3, 4 and 5 feet, the trio reads as a small forest rather than a lone decoration, and the stepped heights give the group its shape. Split them up and each one still works alone, which is what the three sizes are for.

Three sizes, three base plates

Three feet, four feet and five feet. The base plates measure 18 by 7 inches, 18 by 8 and 20 by 10, which is worth knowing because they are flat rectangles rather than folding cross frames. Two pairs of gloves are shown as part of the package.

Why the branches hang down

The magnified circle shows the shape: branches bowing under their own weight rather than held out level. The manufacturer's stated aim is to replicate the heavy, snow laden boughs of a real tree. The counts are 115, 207 and 275 tips for the three sizes, 597 in total.

What they look like unlit

Worth seeing, because the lit photographs are very colourful. Unlit they are pale grey green with bare trunks showing below the foliage, which is what makes them read as small alpine firs rather than cones. The bare trunk is a deliberate part of the look, not a gap in the branches.

Three hundred coloured bulbs

Fifty, one hundred and one hundred and fifty across the three trees. The magnified view shows the bulbs sitting among the flocked needles, where the white reflects the colour back out. A UL approved adaptor powers them, and the manufacturer describes the LEDs as energy saving.

What you get

Three, four and five feet, so they can be grouped as a set or spread through separate rooms.

300 multicolour LEDs

115, 207 and 275 respectively, each snow flocked over the PVC foliage.

Drooping branches

Shaped to bow rather than stand level, which is what gives the snow laden alpine look.

UL approved adaptor

Stated by the manufacturer, with two pairs of gloves included for handling the flocked branches.

Who is this perfect for?

Hallways and entrances

Stepped heights along a hall or beside a staircase read as a deliberate arrangement rather than a spare tree.

Flats and small rooms

Slim alpine shapes on small plate bases take very little floor, and one can go in each room.

Shops and window displays

Three trees at once, already lit, which fills a window without three separate purchases.

What we stand behind

  • The tip counts of 115, 207 and 275 and the light counts of 50, 100 and 150 come from the manufacturer's own panel.
  • The three heights and all three base plate sizes are read off the maker's dimension drawing.
  • The maker's photographs carry a note that the ornaments shown are not included.
  • Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Frequently asked questions

Is 115 tips enough on the smallest tree?

For this shape, yes, because the alpine style is meant to be open rather than dense. The branches are widely spaced with a bare trunk showing below them, which is how small alpine firs actually grow. If you want a thick cone, this is not that tree.

Can they be used separately?

Yes, and that is part of the point of three different heights. One in a hallway, one in a bedroom and one on a landing works as well as grouping all three. Each has its own base plate.

What do the base plates look like?

Flat solid metal rectangles rather than folding cross frames, measuring 18 by 7, 18 by 8 and 20 by 10 inches for the three sizes. They sit flush to the floor, which suits a tree with a bare trunk.

Will the flocking shed?

Some will, mostly while the trees are being unpacked and positioned. Flocked tree care guidance is to set them where they will stand, handle the branches gently, and dust with a soft duster rather than vacuuming.
