The manufacturer calls it a removable and washable cover, and shows the zip running along the edge rather than hidden underneath. Thick sponge padding is their description of what is inside. In practice the useful part is that a cover can be washed at the end of a season and put back.

Can the cushion covers go in a washing machine?

The manufacturer says to unzip them for easy maintenance and calls them washable, but publishes no wash temperature or cycle. Treat them as you would any outdoor polyester cover and wash cool.

Does a cover for the seating come too?

No. The PVC cover included in this order is for the fire pit table. The seat cushions are meant to come indoors, and covers for the wicker frames would be a separate purchase.

Is the propane tank included?

No. The hinged side panel is sized for a standard 20 lb cylinder, the same one a gas barbecue uses. The lava rocks do come in the box.

Will everything arrive together?

Not necessarily. The manufacturer ships this set in four boxes and says you may not get them all at the same time, so leave the assembly until the last one lands.
