The same table, twice

Lit, it runs at 50000 BTU over lava rocks. Covered, it is a flat 35 in square you can lay out breakfast on. The manufacturer gives it both jobs, and the switch between them is a metal lid you lift on and off by hand.

Where the tank lives

One side of the base is a hinged wicker panel. A 20 lb standard propane tank stands inside it, out of sight, connected through the opening. The manufacturer's three steps are printed here too. Open the flow valve, add the lava rocks without burying the stainless steel, then turn the knob and press ignite.

Cushions that come apart

Every cushion cover unzips and goes in the wash, which on a light beige set is the difference between one spilled glass and a permanent mark. The manufacturer describes the fill as thick sponge padding and the surface as soft touch.

Is the propane tank included?

No. The hinged side panel is sized for a standard 20 lb tank, which you buy or exchange locally. The lava rocks and the PVC cover for the fire table do come in the box.

Will everything arrive together?

Not necessarily. The manufacturer ships this set in four boxes and says plainly that you may not get them all at the same time. Plan the build for a day after the last box lands rather than the first.

Can I leave the fire table out over winter?

A waterproof PVC cover is included for exactly that. The manufacturer describes it as protecting the fire pit from rain, snow and sun year round, and disconnecting and storing the propane tank separately is normal practice.
