What ceiling height do I need?

About ten feet. Guides advise keeping roughly twelve inches of clear air above the tip, and a topper adds to that. Measure to the ceiling, not to a beam or a light fitting.

How do I decorate the top?

Decorate each section before the next one goes on. That is safer than working from a ladder beside a finished nine foot tree and it gets ornaments into the middle of the tree where they show.

Will the flocking shed?
