Can it stand outside by the front door?

Only under cover, and at your own judgement. No outdoor or weather rating is published for this tree, and Health Canada is clear that decorations rated for indoor use belong indoors. A covered porch that stays dry is the furthest we would take it.

Do I need a tree skirt?

No. The tree is planted in a decorative urn with a shaped foot, so there is no stand to cover. That is the main reason to choose this shape over a small tree on a tripod.

Are the berries and cones removable?
