10 FT Patio Cantilever Umbrella with 360° Rotation and Air Vent for Backyard and Poolside-Tan
Description
10 FT Patio Cantilever Umbrella with 360° Rotation and Air Vent for Backyard and Poolside-Tan
A warm tan canopy on its own 40 inch cross frame, which means it does not need a hole in your table to stand up. It measures 10 feet at the widest and 9.6 feet across, hangs 6.5 feet clear at the rim, and turns a full circle on a foot pedal. The top is vented and the arm is braced back to the post.
Your table has no hole in it
Most outdoor tables were never made for an umbrella
Solid stone, teak and glass tables are everywhere, and none of them has a centre opening. The usual options are drilling a hole in furniture you like, or sitting in the sun.
Bring the stand with you
This one arrives with a 40 inch square cross frame of its own and hangs the canopy over from the side. The table stays exactly as it is. Park the post wherever there is a clear patch of paving and step on the pedal to swing the shade where you want it.

The stand is part of the deal
At the bottom of this picture is the 40 inch cross frame that comes in the carton. It is what lets the umbrella stand anywhere rather than depending on a table. Above it the post rises and the braced arm carries the tan canopy out over the seating.
Sized against a dining set
Over a wooden dining table the canopy runs past the edge on both sides, which is what keeps the chairs covered and not just the plates. Furniture guides pair a canopy this wide with a table of roughly 60 inches and about six seats. Clearance is 6.5 feet at the rim and 8 feet at the crown.

Ribs, vent and brace
Three pieces of engineering in one panel. Metal ribs spread the fabric, the vent in the top lets air escape upward rather than lifting the canopy, and the triangle behind the arm ties the overhang back to the post. Those are the parts that decide how a cantilever behaves on a windy day.
Or over the loungers instead
Same umbrella, different spot. Because it is free standing, the canopy can go over a pair of loungers on wet paving where no table umbrella would work. The post sits back from the water's edge, and the shade swings across on the pedal as the afternoon moves.

What you get
Post outside the seating
The arm hangs the canopy over your furniture from one side, so nothing stands in the middle of the group.
Full circle on a foot pedal
Step on the pedal, hold the post, turn. The shade follows the sun and the loaded base stays exactly where it is.
Vented top
A gap at the crown lets air climb out of the canopy rather than pushing against the whole of it.
Triangle braced arm
A diagonal strut ties the arm back to the post, which is what keeps a long overhang from nodding.
Heavy-duty metal ribs
Metal ribs hold the canopy taut across its full width instead of letting the fabric flap at the edges.
Manual lift
No crank gearing to strip. You raise and lower the canopy by hand, which is fewer parts to go wrong.
40 inch cross base included
The cross frame ships with the umbrella. The weighted base that loads it is a separate purchase.
Measured off the drawing

How it compares
Where a plain cantilever sits between the cheaper and the dearer ways of shading a patio. General category guidance, not lab testing.

Who is this perfect for?
Pool decks
It stands on its own frame, so the shade can go over loungers or wet paving where no table exists to hold a pole.
Solid top tables
Tables without a centre hole are common and awkward to shade. The post parks beside the chairs and solves it.
Budget minded buyers
This is the plain version of the shape: no lights, no tilt setting, just the offset arm and the rotation.

What we stand behind
- Fabric claims here are the manufacturer's own words: sun protective, water resistant, wear resistant.
- No UPF number is published for this canopy, so we do not quote one.
- Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150.
- 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What base does it need?
The 40 inch cross frame comes in the box. The weights that sit on it do not, and this product's own dimension drawing recommends a 220 lb weighted base. Be aware the description text on the same record says 90 lb, so the manufacturer's paperwork disagrees with itself. The higher figure is the one we would size to, because a cantilever carries its whole canopy off to one side of the post.
Can it stand next to my table rather than through it?
That is how it is meant to be used. The 40 inch cross frame goes on the paving beside the table and the arm reaches the canopy over the top. Nothing touches the table at all, so a solid stone or teak top is no obstacle.
Is there any lighting?
No. This is the plain model in the range and it has no LEDs and no solar panel. If lighting matters, the solar models in the same line carry beads along the ribs and a centre light.
What is the winter routine?
Close it, let the canopy dry right through, wipe the post and store it somewhere dry. Canadian umbrella care guides all land on the same two hazards: snow load sitting on an open canopy, and fabric packed away while it is still damp.
