Why do the branches hang down?

It is deliberate. The manufacturer shapes each branch to bow so the tree looks as though snow has settled on it. Paired with thick flocking, it gives a softer, lower outline than a tree with branches held out straight, and it is the main thing separating this model from the other flocked trees in the range.

How much floor space does it need?

Five feet across at the lowest branches on a 24 inch stand, so a clear circle nearer five and a half feet. At eight feet tall it suits a ten foot ceiling, or nine feet with a flat topper.

Will drooping branches hold ornaments?

Yes, and they hang differently. Because the branch tips point downward, hooks sit naturally and ornaments hang straight rather than tilting. Keep the heaviest pieces closer to the trunk where the branch is strongest.

Will the flocking shed?

Some will, mostly during setup or if the tree is dragged into place. Flocked tree care guidance is to assemble it where it will stand, handle the branches gently, and dust with a soft duster from the top down rather than vacuuming it.
