What lights should I use on it?

Warm white keeps flocking cream and cosy, cool white keeps it icy. Health Canada advises a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on the string and switching it off before bed.

Will it hold ornaments?

Small and light ones. Branches on a pencil tree are short and close to the trunk, so a larger number of small pieces works better than a few heavy ones.
