Most platform beds take a mattress up to 12 or 14 inches. This one publishes a window of 8 to 11, and an inch over the top of it changes how the headboard shelf sits relative to the pillow.

The window is stated here first. Between 8 and 11 inches the shelf sits just above the mattress where you can reach it lying down. Measure the mattress you own before ordering rather than assuming the usual range applies.

Seven and a half more than the Queen mattress, all of it headboard depth. Sixty and a half inches wide, which is tight for a Queen, so the length rather than the width is what decides whether this bed fits.

Padded, then shelved

High density sponge where your back meets it, a full width shelf above that. It holds what a nightstand would hold, which is the point in a room where there is no space for one.

Sockets in the shelf

Recessed into the headboard so a plug does not stand proud. Two mains outlets and two data ports, fed by a five foot cord that has to reach a wall socket on that side of the bed.

Snap on, no tools

Twelve metal slats clip into the rails and five middle legs carry them. The published capacity for the Queen is 660 lb and there is nothing to put on top of the slats.
