The drawing states a maximum mattress thickness of 6 inches. That is unusual on a Queen and it is the first thing to check against the mattress you own, because a 10 or 12 inch mattress will stand well above the curved footboard and change how the bed looks and works.

Eighty eight inches of wall

The deck measures 82.5 by 61 inches for a Queen mattress, but the curved ends push the overall length to 88 inches and the width to 63. Both curves lean outward, so measure the outside figures rather than the mattress when you plan the room.

Drawers on either side

Two drawers, each 35.5 by 15 inches inside and 5 inches deep, mount on whichever side suits the room. They roll on wheels and have built in stoppers so they cannot be pulled clear of the frame by accident. Five inches of depth holds folded bedding flat, which is the sensible use for a drawer of this shape.

Eight slats and wood legs
