Measure the ridge, not the mattress

81.5 by 57 inches on the floor, which is more than a plain Double frame because the fence rails sit outside the mattress. The number people forget is the 56.5 inches to the ridge. Under a sloping ceiling or a high window, that is the one that decides whether it goes in.

A six inch mattress, on the floor

The manufacturer asks for a 6 inch Full mattress. A deeper one raises the child above the fence rails and takes away the point of them. Seven plywood slats and a centre support bar carry it, with no box spring underneath.

Something to hang things from

The roof frame is open timber, so string lights, bunting or a sheet all attach to it. The panel shows all three. None of the decorations are included, and that is worth saying plainly because the photographs are full of them.
