The frame is 86 inches long and the headboard 62.5 inches across at 40 inches from the floor. A Queen mattress is 60 by 80 inches, so the frame runs six inches longer than the mattress because of the headboard uprights. Clearance under the rails is 11.5 inches.

What carries 1100 pounds

Twelve metal slats with reinforced bolt connections, extra legs down the middle of a 60 inch span, and foam where the deck meets the rails. The middle legs are the part that matters on a Queen, because the centre is where the deck would otherwise flex.

Four drawers that fold flat

Fabric drawers on a folding frame rather than rigid trays. They store what a rigid drawer would, and when you do not need them they collapse rather than sitting empty. Each is about 25 by 20 inches, and the liner keeps folded bedding off the metal rail it sits against.

Sockets under the shelf

Two mains outlets, a USB port and a Type-C port, recessed so nothing stands proud behind the pillows. The two shelf tiers above take books and a clock, lit from behind by the LED channel. The cord to the wall is 4.9 feet, long enough to clear a nightstand.
