Set of 3 Potted Pencil Christmas Trees, 3 FT 4 FT and 5 FT in Silver Metal Buckets
Description
Set of 3 Potted Pencil Christmas Trees at 3, 4 and 5 FT
Three narrow green trees at three, four and five feet, each a foot across and planted in a galvanised bucket weighted with cement. Unlit and plain, which is what makes them a base rather than a finished decoration.
Three trees, less floor than one
What usually goes wrong
A grouped display normally means finding room for three separate stands, each a couple of feet across. In a hall or an ordinary living room that is more floor than December has going spare.
How this one answers it
Each of these is a foot wide on a bucket between 6.5 and 7 inches across. Three lined up take less floor than a single conventional five foot tree, which is what makes a layered group possible in a normal room.

Three, four and five feet
Each tree is a foot across whatever its height. The buckets differ: 7 inches across and 7.5 high for the smallest, 6.5 across and 9.5 high for the other two. The staggered heights are what turn three trees into an arrangement.
120, 140 and 160 tips
Four hundred and twenty tips across the set, rising with the height. They are plain mid green flat cut PVC with no flocking, no berries and nothing pre-attached, which is what makes this the version to buy if you have a scheme of your own in mind.

Buckets filled with cement
Each tree is planted in a galvanised metal bucket with cement set into the base. That is how a one foot wide tree stands up: weight low down rather than a wide stand. It also means there is nothing to hide, no wire legs and no skirt needed.
One, two and two sections
The smallest tree is a single piece; the taller two split into two. Stand the buckets on a level floor, drop the sections in one by one and spread the tips by hand. Nothing is screwed or bolted, and they come apart the same way.

What you get
Three trees
3 ft, 4 ft and 5 ft, each a foot across at the branches.
420 branch tips
120, 140 and 160 respectively, in plain green new PVC.
Cement filled buckets
Galvanised silver metal with cement set into the base.
Slim profile
A foot wide each, so three take less floor than one full tree.
1, 2 and 2 sections
The smallest is one piece; the taller two split for storage.
Unlit
No lights fitted, so the string and its colour are your choice.

Who is this perfect for?
Halls, entrances and corners
A descending row of three along a hall wall or beside a door reads as a deliberate arrangement and still leaves the walkway clear, which only works because each tree is a foot wide.
People who decorate to a scheme
Plain green and unlit is a blank. Nothing about the colour of the lights or the style of the trim has been decided for you, which is the difference between this set and its flocked sibling.

What we stand behind
- Three trees and three buckets are supplied. Ornaments are not: the manufacturer marks this on its own images.
- The trees are unlit. Nothing in the record describes lights, a string or an adaptor for this set.
- The heights, the one foot width, the bucket sizes and the 120, 140 and 160 tip counts are read from the manufacturer's own dimension and feature panels.
- Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
Do they come with lights?
No. All three trees are unlit and nothing in the manufacturer's record describes a light string or an adaptor. Battery strings work well here, because the buckets give you somewhere to hide a battery box.
How many lights would I need?
A common trade rule of thumb is around 100 bulbs per foot of height, so roughly 300, 400 and 500 for the three trees. On a pencil shape you can use rather fewer, since there is less depth to fill. That is guidance, not a manufacturer specification.
How stable is a one foot wide tree?
Stable for its size, because the weight sits at the bottom: each bucket has cement set into its base. They are still slim trees, so in a busy hallway do not expect them to shrug off a knock.
How do they go together?
Stand the buckets on a level floor, insert the trunk sections one by one and fluff the tips. The smallest tree is a single piece; the two taller ones are two sections each.
Can they stand outside?
The manufacturer lists porches among their uses but publishes no weather or ingress rating, so we would keep them under cover. The metal buckets would not mind a sheltered porch; the PVC is not described as weatherproof.
What is the difference from the flocked version?
Only the finish. The heights, widths, bucket sizes, tip counts and section structure are identical; that set is heavily snow flocked and this one is plain green.
