Small trees and the bare metal stand

A tabletop tree with a tripod under it

Most small artificial trees stand on a folding wire tripod. In a doorway or on a porch there is no gift pile and no skirt to hide it, so the first thing anyone sees is three legs of black metal.

A flowerpot instead of a tripod

This one is planted into an antique style flowerpot with a raised pattern on each face, which acts as both the base and the finish. It reads as a potted plant rather than a decoration on a stand, which is why it works in an entrance.

This is a doorway tree. Four feet is the size that sits either side of a front door, on a porch step, at the end of a hallway or on a wide landing, and the moulded flowerpot underneath means it does not need a skirt or a stand hidden behind it. This listing is the single tree; the same product is also sold as a pair.

Two views of the same 4 ft potted Christmas tree on a white background, lit multicoloured on the left and warm white on the right, with a handheld remote showing mode and timer buttons

Both light settings, and the remote

The photograph shows the same tree twice, once in multicolour and once in warm white, which is the clearest way to see what the two circuits actually do. The snowy flocking on the tip of each branch shows in both. Below them is the remote: on and off, timer buttons for 6, 8 and the split cycle, numbered mode buttons one to eleven, and a dimmer pair for the four brightness levels. The base is a square flowerpot in an antique bronze finish with a raised pattern on each side.

What you get

Antique style flowerpot

A patterned moulded pot that acts as the base, so there is no wire tripod to hide.

180 snowy branch tips

Snow dusted leaves on a compact frame, counted by the manufacturer for this size.

80 LEDs, two colours

Warm white or multicolour on a switch, pre-installed on the branches at the factory.

Eleven lighting modes

Named by the maker: comb, C1 and C2 steady on, C1 and C2 mixture, slo-glo, breathing, C1 and C2 slo-glo, flash and in wave.

Remote and controller

A handheld remote plus a built-in controller, with four brightness levels on both.

Three timer settings

So the tree is not left burning all night in a hallway where nobody is looking at it.

Who is this perfect for?

Front doors and porches

A potted tree either side of a door is the classic use, and the pot means nothing has to be covered up.

Flats with no corner

Four feet on a small pot fits a hallway table, a landing or the end of a kitchen counter.

Anyone who forgets switches

Three timer settings mean a tree in a hallway turns itself off rather than burning through to morning.

What we stand behind

  • The 180 tip count, the 80 LED count, the eleven named modes, the four brightness levels and the three timer settings all come from the manufacturer's own specification list.
  • This listing is the single tree. The two tree set is sold separately in this range at a different price.
  • This listing ships with one product photograph, so one photo section is shown rather than repeating the same image.
  • Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.

Frequently asked questions

Is this one tree or two?

One. The product name covers a family sold as a set of one or a set of two, and this listing is the single tree. The pair is a separate listing at roughly double the price.

Can it go outside?

The manufacturer describes it for indoor settings such as doorways and hallways, and publishes no weather rating, so we make no outdoor claim. A covered porch with a protected outlet is the furthest we would push it.

What do C1 and C2 mean in the mode list?

They are the two light colours. C1 and C2 are warm white and multicolour, and the modes use one, the other, or both: steady, mixture, slo-glo, breathing, flash and in wave among them. The manufacturer names all eleven in their own specification.

Does it need assembling?

Yes. The manufacturer states assembly is required, and a pair of gloves is supplied for spreading the tips. On a tree this size that is a few minutes of work rather than an evening.
