Are the lights purple?

No, warm white. The colour is entirely in the foliage, and white bulbs are what make a dark tree readable at night. Coloured bulbs on purple needles disappear into them.

What ceiling height does it need?

Seven and a half feet of tree plus the stand and a topper, so nine feet is comfortable and eight is tight. The 6 ft version in the same range suits a standard room.

How dark is deep purple?

Dark enough to read almost black from a distance when unlit, then clearly violet once the lights are on or in good daylight. The white background product photograph shows it most honestly.

What are the iridescent PET leaves?

Glossy leaves mixed among the matt PVC ones. They catch daylight and show colour shifts, which is what makes this a tinsel tree rather than a plain coloured one.

Can I replace a bulb?
