Is the lighting cut down on the smallest size?

No. The eleven modes, the four brightness levels, the three timer cycles, the memory function, the remote and the on-tree controller are all the same as on the 7.5 ft and 8 ft versions. Only the bulb count changes, at 300 rather than 500 or 560.

What ceiling height does it need?

Six feet of tree plus the stand and a topper. A standard eight foot ceiling gives comfortable clearance, which is the main reason to choose this size over the taller two.

What are the 11 modes?

Five warm white settings, two mixed settings and four multicolour settings, covering steady, quick flash, slow flash and slow fade behaviour. They are selected from the remote or the controller on the tree.

Is it hinged or hook-on?

The manufacturer does not state the branch fitting method for this range, so we do not claim one. Two pairs of gloves are supplied for shaping the tips.

How dense is 714 tips on a 6 ft tree?

Full enough that the pole is hidden once the branches are spread, though it is a moderate rather than an extravagant count. The pine cones and the upward branch angle do a lot of the visual work.
