Lie back on an outdoor lounger and there is nowhere for a drink except the deck, which means sitting up every time you want it. Add a side table and it is in the way of the ottoman.
A folding tray in each arm
Both arms of this loveseat carry a tray that lifts out on a gas strut and folds flat back into the arm afterwards. With the back at 145 degrees and the ottoman pushed up, a glass sits at elbow height without anything extra on the deck.
