Four arrangements

The maker draws the same pieces as a large L, as a straight run, as a facing pair and as a compact group. Because the corner and the two armed ends are separate, the L can be built to face either way.

What the wood needs

The maker calls the surface splinter free and asks that it be oiled regularly. Acacia is a dense hardwood, which is why it turns up on outdoor furniture, but no wood keeps its colour outside without a little help.
