Platforms sit at 13, 20, 25 and 31 inches with the top perch at 40, so the largest step is about 9 inches. The base is 23 inches across, the condo 13.5 inches wide with a door of 8 by 6.5, and the top bed 14 inches.
Built for cats that cannot jump
The maker is explicit that the spacing suits munchkin cats and older cats, and the drawing bears it out. Most towers this height ask for a jump of 15 inches or more somewhere. This one never does.
A ladder and a bridge
The ladder gives a graded way up from the floor and the curved bridge crosses between two levels at the same height. Together they turn a stack of platforms into a circuit, so a cat can come down a different way from the one it went up.
