The Earth CH4012 adds a 6-inch vertical rise that lifts the whole seat while you're sitting or reclining, useful for reducing strain on knees and hips before a transfer, and its armrests remove completely for side or sling transfers.
Seat height adjusts before you even stand
The 6-inch vertical rise raises or lowers the seat while sitting or reclining, letting a user or caregiver set the optimal height before a transfer begins, rather than relying on the recline angle alone.
Removable armrests for side transfers
Armrests detach completely, opening the sides of the chair for lateral or sling-assisted transfers, a feature aimed at occupational-therapist-guided transfer routines.
