ESKA 9'0" Hard Paddle Board
A 9-foot hard paddle board built for SUP surf. It weighs 26 lbs, carries up to 185 lbs, and pairs a glossy finish with a mono-concave hull and V-shaped tail for catching waves.
ESKA is Taiga's dedicated surf-leaning board: shorter and narrower than the all-around models, with a hull shape built to turn on a wave rather than just cruise flat water. It ships as board and fins alone, or in a kit with a paddle, leash and protective extras. Where an all-around board favours a flatter hull for stability, ESKA's mono-concave shape and lower volume are built to respond quickly when you shift your weight, which is the same trait that makes it easier to turn on a wave and slightly less forgiving to stand on at first.
Shaped to turn on a wave
A mono-concave nose and body lead into a V-shaped tail, a hull shape built for carving turns rather than just tracking straight. The dark grey deck pad covers the standing area, with an olive-green accent marking the tail and the Taiga logo set into the pad.
Small enough to feel responsive
At 9 feet and 31 inches wide, ESKA is one of the smaller boards in Taiga's range, which trades some flat-water glide for quicker turns. That size also makes it easier to duck-dive or reposition quickly once you're out past the break.
