CAtuned Off-Road Front Bumper, Ford Transit
A steel front bumper built for the Ford Transit van, made from 3/16 steel with a black powder-coated finish. It adds a front hitch receiver and shackle mounts, sold with or without a WARN EVO12S winch mount, and bolts on in place of the factory plastic bumper.
A Transit van built for work or overlanding needs a front end that can take a bump on a job site or a gravel road. This bumper replaces the factory plastic with welded 3/16 steel, shaped specifically for the Transit rather than adapted from another van, with mounting points for a winch, lights and recovery gear already built in.
A steel bar where the plastic used to be
The bumper spans the full front of the van with a tubular hoop on top and a flat lower skid section. Two round lights are mounted low, on tabs built into the bumper itself, ahead of the factory grille and headlights.
Recovery points built in, not bolted on
The close-up shows the shackle mounts on each side, a centre winch mounting plate and a hitch slot below it. These are welded into the bumper structure itself, so there is nothing extra to fit or fabricate once the bumper is on the van, and the layout stays the same whether or not you order the winch mount option.
