The Athabasca S stretches the Athabasca shape to 12 ft 6 in and narrows it to 30 in, a proportion swap built for speed over long paddles. It holds up to 285 lbs.
The extra length and narrower width trade a little side-to-side stability for a longer waterline, which is what lets a board hold speed over a multi-kilometre paddle.
