What ceiling height does a 9 ft tree need?

Balsam Hill's guide asks for at least 12 inches between the tip and the ceiling, so ten feet is the practical minimum. The stand lifts the tree and a topper adds more again.

Does it come with lights?

No. This is an unlit flocked tree, so you choose the string yourself. On a nine foot tree plan for more light than you think. Health Canada advises looking for a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on light strings.

Will the flocking shed?

The manufacturer's own photography says a little may shed during the first setup and advises gentle handling. Open it out over a sheet, hold the inner branches rather than the tips, and keep water and sprays off the foliage.

Can one person put it up?

Four sections rather than three is what makes that realistic. Each piece is short enough to lift alone, though a second pair of hands helps when the top section goes on.
