What thick flocking looks like

The close up shows flocking laid over the needle rather than dusted on it, so the green underneath only shows at the base of each branch. On a 600 tip tree that coverage does much of the work that extra tips would do.

Three sections, hinged

The tree separates into three parts plus the base. The detail circles show a hinge swinging a branch away from the pole as the section is raised, which is what makes setup faster than a hook-on tree.

Does it come with lights?

No. This is an unlit flocked tree, so you choose the string yourself. Health Canada advises looking for a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on light strings.

Will the flocking shed?

Some comes away at the first setup. Open it out over a sheet and hold the inner branches rather than the tips. Keep water and cleaning sprays off flocked foliage.

Is 600 tips enough at six feet?

It is at the sparse end of the category, but heavy flocking fills the gaps visually in a way that green foliage does not. The slim 3 ft profile also concentrates what is there.

How is it different from the larger sizes?

The family runs 6, 7.5 and 9 ft with 600, 1010 and 1498 tips. The 6 ft comes in three sections and the larger two in four.
