AlumiRamp Armada Modular Aluminum Ramp Kit, ADA/ANSI-Compliant

AlumiRamp Armada Modular Aluminum Ramp Kit, ADA/ANSI-Compliant

Description

AlumiRamp Armada Modular Aluminum Ramp Kit

Armada is AlumiRamp's fully aluminum modular ramp system, engineered to ANSI and ADA section 4.8 guidelines for slope, handrails and gripping surface, with platform landings that let a ramp turn 90 or 180 degrees where a straight run won't fit.

ADA/ANSI section 4.8 compliant300 lb concentrated load10-year warranty

The welded, anodized 6061-T6 or 6005-T5 aluminum frame carries a 300 lb concentrated load rating and a 100 lb/sq ft live load rating, per AlumiRamp, and every section - straight or through a turn - holds the same 1:12 slope, so a directional change never forces a steeper stretch of ramp.

AlumiRamp Armada modular aluminum ramp with turn platform

A turn platform, not a compromise

When a driveway or lot line rules out one long straight ramp, Armada's platform landing sections carry the run through a 90 or 180 degree turn while each segment keeps AlumiRamp's 1:12 slope on its own - no steeper transition to make up the difference.

Handrails and tread built to the code section they cite

AlumiRamp specs a top rail 30-34 in above the ramp surface, an intermediate rail at 18-22 in, and a 1.5 in continuous gripping surface - the dimensions ADA section 4.8 sets out - over an interlocking, bidirectional knurled tread.

Platform landings carry the run around a corner without a steeper compensating slope.

Projects needing documented code compliance

ADA section 4.8 and ANSI guideline references support permit or inspection paperwork.

Frequently asked questions

Is Armada ADA compliant?

AlumiRamp states the Armada system meets ANSI and ADA guidelines, including ADA section 4.8 for handrail height, gripping surface and slope; confirm specifics with your local building department for permit purposes.

How does the turn affect ramp length?

Each straight segment before and after a turn platform keeps the same 1:12 slope independently - the turn platform doesn't shorten the total run you need for your rise.

What's the weight rating?

AlumiRamp rates Armada to 100 lb per sq ft live load and 300 lb concentrated load.

Can it be moved to a different house or entrance?

Yes, AlumiRamp designs Armada's bolted aluminum components to be disassembled with a 1/2 in wrench and reinstalled at a new site.
