How much floor space does it really need?

Allow a clear circle of at least six feet. At 5.6 feet across it is wider than most eight foot trees, which usually measure around four and a half. That extra foot of spread is the reason to buy it, but it has to be planned for rather than discovered.

What ceiling height does it need?

Ten feet is comfortable. Sizing guides suggest about a foot between the tip and the ceiling for a topper, and the 23.5 inch stand lifts the tree slightly. Under a nine foot ceiling it will fit with a flat topper; under eight feet it will not stand.

Why four sections?

Because eight feet of dense tree in three pieces makes each one heavy and awkward. Four keeps every section short enough for one person to lift and stack, and it packs into a smaller space for storage.
