7 Piece Acacia Patio Dining Set for 6, 63 Inch Table on a U Shaped Metal Base and Six Cushioned Armchairs
Description
7 Piece Acacia Patio Dining Set for 6, 63 Inch Table on a U Shaped Metal Base and Six Cushioned Armchairs
There is no leg in the corner of this table. The acacia top sits on two U shaped metal skids set well inboard, which is what keeps the two end seats clear, and the feet on those skids adjust so the whole thing stops rocking on uneven slabs. Six acacia armchairs come with it, each rated to 400 lb.
The seat at the end of the table
Somebody always straddles a leg
On a four legged rectangular table the corner legs land exactly where the end chairs want to go. Whoever sits there spends the meal with a leg between their knees, angled off to one side, and usually gives up and moves.
Two skids, set well in from the ends
The top here rests on a pair of U shaped metal skids placed inboard of both ends, with triangular bracing underneath the top rather than legs at the corners. The end places are open underneath, so the sixth person sits square to the table like everybody else.
Warm acacia over black metal, with cream cushions that unzip and go in the wash.

Six armchairs, all with arms
Two down each long side and one at each end of the 63 in top, which gives roughly 31 in of table edge to each side place. Every one of the six has armrests, so nobody draws the short straw at the end and gets the armless chair that does not match.
Four things the maker builds in
A backrest set on a tilt rather than upright, a sponge filled cushion, armrests wide enough to actually use, and a cover that unzips for the wash. The back is slatted, which the manufacturer describes as a breathable slat design and which in practice lets air past you on a hot afternoon.

The top, close up
Solid acacia in a slatted layout with a border frame, sanded to what the maker calls splinter free, and described as warp resistant. Their maintenance note is printed on the same panel and worth repeating. Apply wood polish oil regularly, and avoid leaving the set out in the rain.
A 1.97 inch hole, reinforced
The hole through the middle of the top has a block fitted underneath to spread the load of a pole, which is the part that usually wears on a wooden table. No umbrella and no base come in this order, and the hole alone will not hold one upright.

What the seven pieces give you
U shaped metal base
Two skids inboard of the ends with triangular bracing under the top, instead of four corner legs.
Adjustable foot pads
Fitted to the base so the table can be levelled on patio slabs or decking that is not flat.
400 lb per chair
Published for each of the six armchairs. The tabletop is published at 165 lb.
63 by 32 inch top
Solid slatted acacia at 30 in high, which is standard dining height.
Tilted slatted backrest
A 19 in panel set on an angle, with gaps between the slats for air.
Washable cushion covers
Sponge filled cushions that lift out, under covers that unzip and go in the machine.
23 inch armrest span
Measured arm to arm, on a chair 25 in across overall and 22.5 in deep.
1.97 in umbrella hole
With a reinforcing block underneath. Umbrella and base are not included.

Who is this perfect for?
Households of six
Six matching armchairs rather than four chairs and two spares dragged over from somewhere else.
Patios laid on slabs
The foot pads adjust, so a stone that sits a few millimetres proud does not turn into a rocking table for the whole summer.
People who want real wood
Solid acacia on the top and the chair frames, with the metal doing the structural work underneath.
Long afternoons at the table
Arms on every chair, a tilted back and a sponge cushion are what separate a set you sit at from one you sit in.

What we stand behind
- Every measurement above, both weight capacities and the 1.97 in umbrella hole come from the product's own dimension drawing and specification block.
- The manufacturer asks that wood polish oil is applied regularly and that the set is not left out in the rain. Neither the oil nor a cover is included.
- Warp resistant and splinter free are the manufacturer's words. No wood treatment, water rating or fabric specification is published, so none is quoted.
- One panel photograph shows two of these chairs with a small round side table that is not part of the seven piece order.
- Ships from a Canadian warehouse, free shipping over $150. 14 day returns, unused and in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
Is the table wobbly on an uneven patio?
The base carries adjustable foot pads for exactly that, so a skid sitting on a high slab can be wound down until the table sits flat. It is a small thing that saves an entire season of folded cardboard under one foot.
Do all six chairs have armrests?
Yes. All six are armchairs measuring 23 in from arm to arm, so there is no odd chair out at the end of the table.
What upkeep does the acacia need?
The manufacturer asks for wood polish oil on the surface regularly and says to avoid leaving the set out in the rain. Neither the oil nor a cover comes with the order.
Can I take the cushions off?
Yes. The sponge filled cushions lift out and the covers unzip for washing, which also means they can come inside for the winter while the frames stay put.
