Three needles, two trimmings

The circles name each foliage type: iridescent PET needles, realistic PE leaves and verdant PVC. The PET is the unusual one, catching light along its length like frost. The 32 cones and 32 berry clusters are wired in among them.

Six feet, three and a half across

6 ft of height against a 3.5 ft spread on an 18 inch stand. A four foot floor circle covers it. One pair of gloves comes in the box, which is worth using around the wired cones.

Eight modes, all warm white

The mode list is printed in full and every one of them runs the same warm white bulbs. There is no colour channel on this tree, which is deliberate: warm white is what suits frosted foliage and red berries.

What is PET and why is it used here?

PET is a different plastic from the usual PVC. The manufacturer calls these needles iridescent, meaning they catch and throw back light along the needle rather than sitting flat, which is what gives the tree its frosted look in daylight.

Are the cones and berries removable?

They are wired into the branches as part of the tree, so treat them as fixed. You can decorate around them.

Can the lights be changed to colour?

No. All 270 bulbs are warm white and there is no colour channel. The eight modes change the pattern rather than the colour.
