Seven feet, three and a third across

7 ft of height against a 3.3 ft spread on a 20 inch stand. Guides advise about a foot of clear air above the tip, so a ceiling of eight and a half feet or more is sensible once the top is bent or a topper is on.

Warm white on black

The close up shows why warm white is the right choice here. Against black foliage the bulbs read as points of firelight rather than the flat wash they give on green, and the 1050 tips are dense enough that the light does not shine straight through the tree.

Does the top arrive bent?

No. It is a bendable section that you shape by hand once the tree is standing, and it can be left straight if you prefer a conventional silhouette.

Is black foliage hard to decorate?

It changes what works. Gold, copper, orange and bone stand out strongly; dark red and deep green disappear. Warm white lights, which this tree has, read particularly well against it.

How is it different from the 6 ft version?

The series gives 726 and 1050 branch tips with 260 and 340 lights for the 6 and 7 ft sizes. This listing is the 7 ft.

How does it store?

Three hinged sections plus the base, which folds. Straighten the top before it goes in the box so the section is not stored under tension.
