Where the colour comes from

846 tips built from two leaf types. The PE leaves carry a blue tint and the PVC leaves blend green with blue, which is what keeps a large green tree from reading as one flat colour. 69 moulded pine cones sit among them.

340 warm white bulbs run through eight modes: combination, in waves, sequential, slo-glo, chasing flash, slow fade, twinkle flash and steady on. Most of the year people leave it on steady. The modes matter on the evening you want the tree to be the entertainment.

Are the pine cones attached or clip on?

They are moulded PE cones fixed into the foliage, so they come out of the box already placed and do not need arranging.

What are the eight lighting modes?

How is it different from the 6 ft and 8 ft sizes?

How much floor space does it need?

4.4 ft across at the widest branches on a 22 inch stand, so allow a floor circle of about five feet.

Does it need fluffing?

Some. The hinges swing the branches out as the sections rise, but the individual tips still want spreading by hand to close the gaps.
