This one mixes coarse PET needles, snow sprayed PE and snow sprayed PVC on the same branch, then adds 26 pine cones and 26 berry clusters through the foliage. Irregularity is the whole trick, and that is what the mix buys.

Each type gets its own panel. The PET needles are the unusual one: coarse, stiff to the touch and twisted along their length, which is what real pine needles do and what flat cut PVC never does. The PE and PVC leaves behind them are snow sprayed rather than heavily flocked.

What is counted, and where it sits

The numbers are printed in full: 602 tips, 26 cones, 26 berry clusters and 190 warm white LEDs. The close up shows how they are placed, cones and berries tucked in among the needles rather than perched on the outside where they would look stuck on.

What is PET and why use it for needles?

PET is a different plastic from the usual PVC. The manufacturer describes these needles as coarse, stiff to the touch and twisted in appearance, which is closer to how a real pine needle behaves than a flat cut PVC blade.

Are the pine cones real?

The manufacturer describes them as natural pine cones and gives the count as 26 on this size. They are fitted to the branches as part of the tree.

How long is the power cord?
