What ceiling height does it need?

Nine feet or more. Guides advise about twelve inches of clear air above the tip, and a topper adds to that. In a standard eight foot room this tree will not stand upright.

Does a pencil tree at eight feet look odd?

It looks tall and narrow, which is the trade. Against a wall, in a stairwell or beside a doorway it reads well. Stranded in the middle of a wide room it can look thin.

How many lights will it take?
