4.5 FT Pre-Lit Snow Flocked Christmas Tree with 295 Hinged Tips and 150 Warm White LEDs
Description
4.5 FT Pre-Lit Snow Flocked Christmas Tree with 295 Tips and 150 Warm White LEDs
Warm white on white flocking is the softest combination in this category, and there are 150 bulbs here spread evenly through 295 flocked tips. The tree stands 4.5 ft tall and 2.4 ft across on a 14 inch crossed metal base, and it splits into two hinged sections for storage.

Four and a half feet, and the spread
4.5 ft tall against a 2.4 ft spread on a 14 inch stand. That is a middle profile: fuller than a pencil tree, narrower than a full spruce, which makes it one of the easier sizes to place in a normal living room.
The same tree, morning and evening
By day the flocking does the work and the bulbs disappear into the white. At night the 150 warm white LEDs light the flocking from inside, which is a softer effect than the same string on green foliage.

Pre-lit and hinged, against the old way
The manufacturer's own comparison is fair enough on the two points that matter. The light string is attached at the factory rather than bought and wound on, and the branches are hinged rather than tied, so they open out instead of being positioned one at a time.
What you get
295 flocked branch tips
Snow flocking over dense PVC tips for a full, wintry outline.
150 warm white LEDs
Evenly spread through the branches, stated UL 588 certified by the manufacturer.
Hinged branches
Branches spread out on their own as each section is raised.
Two sections
Two parts plus a foldable stand, which stores in a small space.
Crossed metal base
A 14 inch crossed base that keeps the tree level and upright.
PVC foliage
Flame-retardant, crack-resistant and odourless per the manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions
Is 150 lights enough for a 4.5 foot tree?
It is a comfortable level rather than a bright one. The white flocking helps, because it reflects light instead of absorbing it the way dark green needles do. If you want a brighter tree, add a string of your own with a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on it.
How does it come apart?
Into two sections and a foldable metal stand. The branches stay hinged to their section, so nothing has to be removed or hooked back on next year.
Will the flocking shed?
A little, mainly while you open the branches out. Handle it by the inner branches, shake it out over a sheet, and keep water off it. Store it cool and dry.
Can I use my own lights as well?
Yes. Just keep the total load on one outlet sensible, which is what Health Canada warns about, and switch everything off before bed.
