No metal anywhere in this set. The table is 63 in by 32 in on curved acacia legs, with two 48 in benches to match. The slats leave gaps, so a shower runs through the top instead of standing on it.

The maker's panel shows both states: the block sitting flush in the top, and the same table with an umbrella through it. The hole measures 1.97 in. An umbrella and its base are separate purchases.

The details on the bench

Three close ups: slats across the seat for airflow, corners rounded off so a shin does not find a sharp edge, and a reinforced joint under the frame. Benches take a lot of sideways load when people swing their legs over.

How the table is put together

The corners are curved rather than cut square, the slats are braced underneath, and the legs taper outward. That splay is what keeps a wooden table steady without a metal frame holding it square.

How many people does it really seat?

The manufacturer's own drawing says two to four comfortably. Two 48 in benches give 24 in of seat each for two adults a side, which matches the everyday spacing dining guides use. The description's claim of a six person dinner party is not supported by that figure.
