The needles are not all the same

This close up is the reason to look twice at it. Long soft pine needles are mixed through the shorter flat ones, with full sized cones and bright red berries sitting where a real pine would carry them. At arm's length that mix reads as a garden pine rather than a plastic cone.

How many lights and tips does it have?

The store record gives those numbers only for the 3 ft size in the same family, and merges the two specification blocks, so there is no reliable figure for the 4 ft tree. We would rather tell you that than publish a number that might be wrong.

How tall is the urn on its own?

The manufacturer's drawing marks the urn at 10 inches tall with a 6 inch foot, and the 4 ft measurement is the whole piece, floor to tip.

Can it go outside?

Not unless it stays dry and under cover. No weather or outdoor rating is published, and Health Canada advises keeping indoor rated decorations indoors.

Will it look sparse next to a full size tree?
