The failure point for a sectional this size is almost never the living room. It is the front door, the turn at the top of the stairs, or a lift that is 47 inches deep. A one piece frame either goes through or it goes back on the van.

The section that charges things

The steel backrest is shown open from two angles. The maker lists USB ports, a three hole socket, a fixing knob and hidden storage space, with a line underneath telling you to take the seat cushion out to reach the box. Nothing about it is visible once the cushions are back on.

The combination panel shows the chaise at the left, at the right, tucked into the middle as a corner, and pulled clear as a standalone seat. Because the armrests, backrests and frames are separate parts, changing layout is a matter of hardware rather than a new sofa.

How many boxes actually arrive?

Four, labelled A, B, E and D. They are shipped as separate parcels and the maker warns they may not land on the same day. Each one holds a module with its own frame, feet and cushions, so nothing is missing from an early box, but the sofa cannot be built until all four are in.

Will it fit up my stairs?

Carton sizes are not published, so measure against the finished depth of a single module, which is 31 inches, rather than the 127 inch overall width. A module travels on its side. The tightest point is almost always a stair turn or a lift, not the front door.

Can the chaise go on the right?

Yes. The combination panel shows four arrangements, including chaise left, chaise right, chaise used as a middle corner and chaise pulled away as a separate seat. The armrests, backrests and frames are all separate parts.

Does the socket need plugging in?

Yes. It is an outlet mounted in the steel backrest, wired to a lead that goes to a wall socket. What you gain is one tidy cable running to the sofa rather than an adapter block on the floor behind it.
