How an inelastic wrap differs from a stretch sleeve

Because the fabric itself doesn't stretch, Compreknee applies low resting pressure when the leg is still and higher working pressure when the calf and thigh muscles push against the wrap during walking, the same short-stretch principle used in lymphedema bandaging. Sigvaris closes it around the patella to stabilize the knee and control swelling.
