A foot pedal assumes a child can hold their weight on one foot while steering. Plenty of three year olds cannot, and a quad that only goes when the pedal is pressed sits unused for a year.

This one drives by button as well. A switch on the console sets direction and picks fast or slow, and the quad moves without anyone touching the pedal. The same child moves to the pedal when they are ready, and nothing needs replacing.

Quad proportions

Wide treaded tyres, a moulded seat that curves at the back and handlebars set at a child's shoulder width. There is no rack on this model, so the shape is cleaner than the utility quads. Anti slip handles and wide footrests come as part of the frame.

Two ways to make it go

A button on the console with a direction switch and a fast or slow selector, or the foot pedal on the footrest. A three year old who cannot manage a pedal yet can still use the button.
