At 37 months a child can sit, steer a little and press a pedal, but not all three at once, and not while a digging arm is hanging off the back of a long machine.

Who holds the controls

One handset for the adult, one panel for the child. The maker prints the battery requirement plainly: two 1.5 V AAA cells for the remote, not supplied. The child's own panel keeps the horn and the music on the wheel.

The media panel

No. The top of that range is about ordinary adult walking speed, which is sensible for a machine that is over eight feet long with the trailer on.

Six, made of PP and EVA. EVA is a foam tyre, which grips better and absorbs more of a bump than hard plastic does.
