This is the size for a stairwell, a vaulted living room or an open plan space where an eight foot tree looks undersized. Below a ten foot ceiling it will fight the room rather than fill it.

A nine foot flocked tree does the job of a display without a display budget. The hinged build matters more commercially than domestically, because it comes down as fast as it goes up.

What ceiling height do I really need?

Ten feet is the honest answer. Nine feet of tree plus a stand of a few inches and a topper will touch a nine foot ceiling. If your room is nine feet, the 7.5 ft size in this range is the one to buy.

Can one person put it up?

Yes, but two is easier. The sections are not heavy so much as awkward, and lifting the upper section into place above shoulder height is the part where a second pair of hands helps.

Will the flocking come off?

Some will, mostly while you are spreading the branches for the first time, and there are 1498 of them. Lay a sheet down and vacuum once afterwards. It drops off sharply after the first season.

How many sections is it?

The manufacturer describes several trunk sections with hinged branches but does not publish the count for this size, so we do not state one.

Is there a remote or any lighting modes?
