7 FT Pre-Lit Christmas Tree with App Controlled LEDs and 2324 Tips

On most pre-lit trees the bulbs run as one long circuit. When a section fails, the fault takes out everything downstream of it, and since the string is wired into the branches there is nothing to swap out. A dead band across the middle of the tree usually ends the tree.

What does the app actually control?

Light colour, brightness and the speed of any glittering or moving effect, plus fifteen preset modes you can select directly. The manufacturer does not name the app or state which phones it supports, so check that matters to you before ordering and we will ask the supplier.

Do I need the app to use the tree?

The manufacturer describes the fifteen preset modes as available directly, so the tree is not useless without a phone. It does not publish an on-tree controller or a remote, so app control is the main route.

What does eight layers mean in practice?

The bulbs are split into eight circuits stacked up the tree, each wired independently. If one fails, the other seven stay lit. On a single circuit tree, one failure usually takes out everything after it.

Why two kinds of branch tip?

Moulded PE tips look like real needles and are used where they are seen, on the outer branches. Flat cut PVC is cheaper and bulkier and fills the interior. The mix is what makes a tree look realistic without costing what an all PE tree costs.

What ceiling height do I need?

Seven feet of tree plus the stand and a topper, so eight feet is the minimum and nine is comfortable. The 6 ft version in this range is the answer for a lower room.

Can I replace a bulb?

No spare bulb or fuse specification is published, so we cannot promise individual bulb replacement. The eight layer wiring is the manufacturer's answer to bulb failure: it contains the fault rather than letting it spread.

Is it heavy?

27.5 lb for the 7 ft size, and it splits into sections, so it is awkward rather than heavy. The 8 ft version is 34.5 lb and the 6 ft is 19 lb.
