What ceiling height do I need?

Eleven feet is comfortable, ten at a minimum. Sizing guides suggest about a foot between the tip and the ceiling for a topper, and the stand lifts the tree a few inches further. Under a standard eight or nine foot ceiling it will not stand.

What does UL588 mean?

It is the manufacturer's own stated certification for the light set, and UL588 is the standard covering seasonal and holiday decorative products. We report the claim as theirs, since no certificate number is published, but it is more specific than the generic UL wording most trees in this range use.

What colour is it really?

Mixed blue and green rather than plain evergreen, with white on the tips. The manufacturer's close up photographs show it clearly. In daylight it reads cooler than a standard green tree, and it sits better with silver and ice blue ornaments than with warm reds and golds.

How much floor space does it need?
