Is it stable standing on a point?

It stands on a cross shaped metal base 23.5 inches across, which is wider than the base on many slim trees, and the trunk is bolted into it with three reinforced screws. The manufacturer uses metal rather than plastic here for that reason. Keep the heavier ornaments higher up where the branch structure is strongest.

How do you decorate an upside down tree?
