On most pre-lit trees the wire runs over the surface of the branches. In daylight you see green cable looping across the front of the tree, and no amount of ornaments hides all of it.

The manufacturer's own words for this one are light strings twined among the leaves, as if the tree was glowing. On white flocked foliage that matters twice over, because a dark wire shows far more against white than against green.

Soft PE under the flocking

The two circles explain what is different here. The foliage is high quality PE, which is moulded and soft rather than cut from flat sheet, and the flocking over it is described as delicate rather than heavy. Together they give a fine, frosted branch instead of a thick white one.

Two colours, eleven modes, one timer

C1 is warm white and C2 is colourful. The eleven modes cover combination, steady on and mixture for each channel, slo glo, breathing, flash and in wave. The timer runs six hours on and eighteen off, so the tree restarts itself at the same hour each day.

What colour does on white

Lit in C2 the whole tree takes the colour rather than just the bulbs, because pale flocked foliage reflects light instead of absorbing it. A green tree with the same string would show coloured dots and stay green.

Is the tree white or green?

What is the difference between C1 and C2?

C1 is warm white and C2 is colourful. Several of the eleven modes exist for each channel, so either colour can be held steady or animated.

Does the timer apply to every mode?

The manufacturer describes a timer function of six hours on and eighteen hours off alongside the mode list. It restarts at the same hour each day from when you set it.

Will the flocking shed?

A little at first setup, as on any flocked tree. The flocking here is described as delicate rather than heavy, so handle the inner branches and keep water and sprays off it.
